Not everyone is in love with the new iPad. I notice both from reading responses online, and in my own email, that an awful lot of people are confusing the iPad with a Netbook. It's possible to do a fair amount of writing on an iPad. Pages is pretty nifty. But the iPad is mostly for consuming, not creating. If you want a netbook, or even a laptop, then you should get one. Don't buy an iPad thinking it's a substitute for either, like this poor guy. I'm getting a little tired of both iPad and Kindle users arguing over which is "best" as an e-reading device; like so many other technologies, it depends on user needs and personal preferences.
